Club Meetings
This is the social aspect to the Club where you can freely come along and meet other members. Usually there will be a talk or presentation at the beginning along with information about upcoming trips. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of every month at 6.30pm in the upstairs room of the Hokitika Chartered Club at 42 Hamilton Street . We look forward seeing you there.
Committee Meetings
Committee meetings will be held frequently throughout the year to process membership applications and discuss and agree upon changes to the operations of the club. Committee members will be provided as much notice as possible of meeting times and locations. These meetings are not open to general members unless an invitation is offered by the President.
General meetings
This last meeting is open to every member of the club to attend and will usually involve some sort of collective decision making that will affect the members. Typically this includes the Annual General Meeting of the club but other general meetings can be called by the Committee from time to time. The Secretary will notify all members of the agenda and date, time and location so you can participate either in person or by proxy.
