These jolly people have taken their personal time to help with the smooth running of the club so you can enjoy a warm social environment. Everyone is very approachable so if you want to know something or just have a blether feel free to approach them at the club meetings or on a trip.
Club Captain - Di Clendon
I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors and the friendships that come from exploring New Zealand’s tracks and backcountry. Being part of the club has given me the opportunity to stay active, meet like-minded people, and continue learning and sharing new experiences.
Chief Guide - Brent Robinson
Growing up here gave me an appreciation for the outdoors from an early age. Being part of the club has been a great way to explore more of the region, meet like-minded people, and keep building my skills and experience in the mountains and backcountry.
Treasurer - Jaci Miller
I love the energy and freedom that comes from getting outdoors and exploring new places. Being part of the club has introduced me to great people, new challenges, and plenty of memorable adventures along the way.
Technology - Garth Hazel
I’m happiest when I’m well away from roads, phones, and anything with notifications. The club’s been a great excuse to get out into proper country, push a few limits, and share a few laughs (and sufferings) with a solid bunch of people.
Memberships - Christine Doonan
Since retiring I’ve enjoyed having more time to spend outdoors, especially cycling and exploring the incredible landscapes around us. Being part of the club has been a wonderful way to stay active, meet new people, and share adventures with others who enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.
Life Members
Euan Mackenzie was a founding member of the club and first life member. He has been the Membership Secretary, Treasurer and Chief Guide of the club.
Brent Robinson was a founding member of the club and second life member. He has been Club Captain and is currently Chief Guide of the club.
Life Membership is available after your first year of membership, you can pay a one-off payment of $350 to the club. No more annual subscriptions.
