Cowboy Paradise Xmas dinner

Trip Overview

Sign up for the 2026 Xmas dinner and day walk at Cowboy Paradise. The wonderful team at Cowboy Paradise will be putting on a Xmas dinner for the HTC at 6:30pm. BYO drinks. We will be doing a day walk to the Cesspool and perhaps the Lower Arahura Hut for those who a keen to spend the day exploring the river valley. Meet at the Cowboy Paradise at 10am for the walk or come along in the evening for dinner. Accommodation is available just contact Cowboy Paradise directly. We will be sorting transport for the day and returning to both Hokitika and Greymouth after the evenings festivities. Sober drivers will be ready and willing to take you home safely.

Day walking gear, warm clothes, waterproof outer layer, good sturdy boots or tramping shoes. Lunch and snacks. Check out the gear list for day walks on the website. Dinner: comfortable tidy attire, any Winter Christmas apparel welcome. This is not an overnight event but you are welcome to make it one if you would like.
