Come and explore this wonderful historical area via either: The Bridle Track - a five and a half hour return trip up this 8.4 km steep climb of 500m all the way to the Brake Head, before returning the same way. or: A one-way walk down the Bridle Track from the Brake head, with time to explore the Brake Head area before you start the descent. or: a range of intermediate-level mountain bike tracks on the plateau itself. You must be prepared to transport your own bike, and understand the challenges of mountain-biking with technical sections mixed in with intermediate-level trails
