Middle Head Hut overnight

Trip Overview

This is an overnight tramp. Walk up the Moeraki river near Haast to explore a U-shaped basin carved out by galciers at the head of the valley. You will have the option to sleep in Middle Head Hut or camp under the rock biv if you are feeling brave enough. The walk in is mostly flat but you must have the fitness to walk for up to 9 and a half hours. This trip will be from 12th to 13th of December.
